Like the other reviewers say this campground is primitive.. The only facilities are a small store, which as a good selection of food and camping stuff including wood for sale. Some reviews of this campground claim wifi, pool table, etc.. None of that exists! The swimming hole is swimming in the St. Marys which is a swim at your own risk..

The campground is unique as you don't get to camp on many failed settlements in the US, which include stuff from when sailing ships pulled in.

The host took our payment and left bathrooms were locked he finally came and unlocked them after I notified someone else very dirty said he will come back to clean them been over two hours not yet seen them cleaned otherwise very peaceful place to relax and escape the city

Its was awsome had a good time there

The best part of this campground is the hanging tree from when the county courthouse was here. Supposedly the area is haunted as well, according to stories from the original settlement.

Decent campground, fairly close to east entrance of Okefenokee, plus a nice boat ramp to Saint Mary's River right next to camp. Has all the amenities (water, showers, electricity, sewer) and very friendly staff.

Smelled like sulfur and the water wasn't very good
